One of the most hated men by the left, has taken an interesting turn; George W Bush has come out of hibernation and made quite a splash lately. Admittedly, Conservatives are not fans of George W Bush either, but this is just....odd. To look at him, without ideology attached, would reveal an honest man with a big heart and a passion for the country.
For those of you who have forgotten, Bush was ridiculed, venomously reported on, and completely disrespected as a sitting President. Kanye West blasted the President as a racist on a nationally televised even to raise money for victims of Hurricane Katrina. There are the 59 Reasons Bush Sucks. There are endless pictures comparing George W Bush to a monkey. This is just a sample of what is out there. There is an endless supply and not the point. Anyone who did not know of George W Bush's treatment, while in office, was absent during those 8 years.
It all began with a heart-felt letter to Cade Foster (#43), the kicker for the Alabama Tide. Cade had the unfortunate "footing" of missing field goal's during Alabama's loss in the Iron Bowl. Foster's Tweet went viral on Twitter; causing many younger generations to find out more about George W Bush.
Vanity Fair, a definite hip magazine, wrote an interesting article regarding George W Bush this week as well. It included some of his moments, obscured by the media, that were positive regarding George W Bush.
In 2009, Bono (rocker and super star) met with George W Bush against the advice of his band
mate, The Edge. Bono recognized George W Bush's work to develop Africa, and took the time to meet with him. Of course, many on the Left blasted Bono for this meeting.

Earlier this year, a hacker obtained access to Dorothy Bush's email and exposed some of the Bush interactions. This included the world's first look at some of George W Bush's artwork. Amazingly, the outpouring of support from the younger generation has been astounding. Suddenly, George W Bush is no longer being called

names. Instead, he is being admired as a "hip" President.
What will come next? Hard to say. Regardless of his ideology or decisions in office, one cannot help but admire our former President. He is a big-hearted, fun-loving, creative, and good person. He was always honest, never intentionally deceptive, and told us exactly what he thought. He brought respect to the office of President. God Bless President George W Bush!
Maybe the younger crowd will find appreciation for our 43rd President. It seems that there is a certain interest that is peaking in him at this time. It is showing the side of him that they have never heard; the artist, the compassion, and the family values. One can only hope that this serves as a lesson to not always listen to the media regarding opinions of people. Find out who they are for yourselves.
